A Miami bartender for a popular strip club decided to call and text her husband saying she’d been kidnapped, rather than confess to him that she was going out barhopping with a male friend.

32-year-old Karla Vasquez is accused of tricking her husband, Daniel Pacheco, into thinking she’d been kidnapped. Understandably, he freaked out and called the cops.

When police realized her story was an outright lie, they arrested her for falsely reporting a crime.

It all started at roughly 4:30 a.m. Thursday, when she called her hubby while he was working the graveyard shift and told him she needed help and to come home. Thinking she was full of it, he hung up.

About an hour later, he got a text from her, again asking for help, and decided he should call her. When he did, she told him that she could see two people inside her car in the driveway.

He then hightailed it home, but when he got there around 6:30 a.m., his precious wife, along with her car, were nowhere to be found.

He called her cell, and she answered, telling him she’d been kidnapped…in her own car. He immediately called the cops and told them what had apparently just transpired.

Cops used her car’s and her phone’s GPS signals to find her. They located her at roughly 3 p.m. driving her car; the one she’d claimed she’d been kidnapped in.

She told them that she’d never even gone home after work. Instead, she’d gone to a bar and met a man. She’d “decided to spend the night with him”.

To further empower her coming clean, authorities found pictures on the man’s phone that showed the two of them “smiling and appearing to have a good time in different places,” the report reads.
