A California woman has been accused of telling men on Craigslist to rape her ex-boyfriend’s pregnant wife.
29-year-old Michelle Suzanne Hadley is accused of going through and replying to ads for rape fantasies, posing as her ex-boyfriend’s new pregnant wife.
She gave the couple’s home address and several men showed up; one even attacked the shocked pregnant woman. Luckily, however, she was able to call for help.
Ms. Hadley had dated the victim’s husband for roughly two years.
She’s also accused of sending emails, threatening the woman and her unborn child.
The unnamed victim had filed a restraining order and it had been served to Hadley on June 6th, but she violated it just a few days later.
She was arrested on June 24th, and was released on $100,000 bail. She still sent threatening emails to the woman, though, and carried on replying to rape fantasy ads.
She’s been charged with one count each of stalking, stalking despite a restraining order, assault with the intent to commit a sexual offense during a first-degree burglary, making criminal threats, and six counts of attempted forcible rape.
She faces seven years to life in prison if she’s convicted.
She’s now being held again, this time on $1 million bail pending her arraignment on August 19th.
