Connecticut police arrested a man after he allegedly fired a gun into a bathroom because the person inside was taking too long.

Around 3 a.m. on Sunday, cops were called to the Portico 1 Villa Apartments on a report of a highly intoxicated man who’d shot a gun inside an apartment.

Police found 22-year-old Shawn Cummins exactly that; highly intoxicated.

He’d gone to his neighbor’s apartment to hang out at around 2 a.m. While they were doing so, he became upset when someone wouldn’t hurry up in the bathroom. He pulled out a 9mm handgun and fired a single round into the closed bathroom door. It just missed the person inside, according to police.

He then left the apartment and fired a second shot into the outside wall of the apartment building.

He was arrested and charged with unlawful discharge of a firearm, carrying a firearm while intoxicated, reckless endangerment, threatening, and disorderly conduct.

He’s being held on a $20,000 cash bond.
