Cop Fatally Shoots Driver After He’s Pulled Over for a Missing License Plate

43-year-old Samuel DuBose was fatally shot by Officer Ray Tensing after he was pulled over for having a missing front license plate. The driver was asked to produce his license and he failed to comply. He also refused to exit his car on the officer’s command.

While Officer Tensing tried to pull the door open, DuBose tried to drive off. During this time, Officer Tensing pulled his gun and shot him in the head.

On Wednesday, July 29th, the University of Cincinnati Police Officer Ray Tensing was indicted for the murder of Samuel DuBose. He has been officially charged with murder and voluntary manslaughter. If convicted, he could face life in prison.
