They say what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. This is unequivocally untrue when it’s done in view of CCTV and onlookers with cell phones.

Such is the case with a Houston man and a New York woman who are now facing felony charges after cops say they were recorded having sex in public during a 30-minute ride in the glass-enclosed cabin of a Ferris wheel high above the Las Vegas Strip.

A judge in Las Vegas set a court date of March 9th date to see if the charges against Phillip Frank Panzica III and Chloe Scordianos can be resolved without a trial.

Authorities say surveillance cameras captured the act, security warned the couple to stop, and people in another car shot video.

A police report from the arresting officers said, “They both said they were just having a good time and didn’t think anyone would notice.”

“[CCTV footage] clearly showed Scordianos laying on her back in the center of the cabin. Panzica was on his knees over Scordianos and removed her dress,” it continued.

“He also removed his clothes while standing up, exposing his penis and bare buttocks, allowing anyone in public to see,” it further revealed.

Scordianos’ lawyer, Chris Rasmussen, says his client believed the couple had an expectation of privacy.

Panzica’s attorney, Bennair Bateman, declined to comment.
