Jacqueline Eide added risk of incarceration to injury after sneaking into Omaha’s Doorly Zoo and Aquarium to pet a tiger. The monster feline was apparently not in the mood; it bit her, causing ‘severe trauma’ to her left hand.

The 33-year-old chose Halloween as her day of adventure, and the tiger believed to be involved in the incident is an 18-year-old Malayan tiger named Mai.

When she was taken to the hospital by a friend, she allegedly became aggressive towards the staff, showing signs of being under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol.

Police cited her for criminal trespass.

In response to the incident, the zoo plans to install more lighting and cameras.
