A Florida lawyer has been busted for having sex with clients at a jail and using cocaine, crack, ecstasy, and other drugs. She’s lost her law license as a result.

43-year-old Linda Dawn Hadad, Daytona Beach public defender, was disbarred because she “engaged in a pattern of misconduct that included illegal drug use and sexual relationships with clients,” the Florida Bar said in a statement Friday.

She had sex with two inmates in the Volusia County Jail so often that the warden limited her access to the attorney visitation area. The female lawyer, who’d been practicing law in Florida since 2002, also had phone sex with inmates.

She admitted to taking Xanax, Adderall, Oxycodone and Lortabs with no prescription, and also used cocaine, crack, ecstasy, marijuana, meth and acid. She rented cars for an inmate in exchange for drugs.

During one phone call to the jail, she tried to contact a domestic violence victim on behalf of an inmate who had a strict no-contact order. She was a no-show or was late to her client’s court appearances, and she’s accused of neglecting at least five clients’ cases. She even moved her law office without telling any of her clients.

She’s been arrested in Volusia County an astonishing five times since 2010 on charges ranging from driving under the influence, petty theft, and driving with a suspended license.
