A Florida man was arrested for trespassing after he was found naked and taking a shower in the home of a woman he didn’t know.

At 3:40 a.m. on March 13th, Hernando County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a call about a suspicious person at a home. A 13-year-old girl who lives at the home had run out of the house and called 911 after she woke up to banging on the bathroom door in the hallway next to her bedroom.

She told responding deputies that the shower had turned on and stayed on for a long time. She told them that all of her siblings were in bed and that her mother was in bed on the opposite end of the house. The girl panicked and left her home through her bedroom window, running to a neighbor’s house to get help.

Deputies spoke with the girl’s mother, Sandra Gilbertsen. They informed her that her daughter had called 911 and asked her to check and make sure all of her children were safe. Luckily, they were.

Officers found the bathroom light on and the shower running. They then looked in the bathroom and saw 35-year-old Joshua Lee Noble naked and sitting in the bathtub with the shower on.

He’s then reported to have yelled “babe” several times, and said that he lived there.

Authorities say his eyes were bloodshot and that he reeked of alcohol. He told detectives that he’d had a drink with his wife at a bar and that they were walking home together and somehow got separated. He couldn’t remember how or when he entered the home.

He was arrested and charged with one count of trespass to an occupied structure.

Investigators say there were no signs of forced entry at the home and they don’t know how Noble got intp the home.
