Former Director of ‘Law and Order’ Arrested for Child Pornography

51-year-old Jason ‘Jace’ Alexander, from Dobbs Ferry, New York, was arrested after police found digital files of children under the age of 16 on computers and external hard drives in his home when they carried out a search warrant. They found downloaded child pornography from an IP address linked to Alexander’s home.

Alexander is a married man with three children. He was also the director and producer of the series “Law and Order” from 1994 to 2005. More recently, he directed the 2013 Lifetime movie “Jodi Arias: Dirty Little Secret.”

Alexander was charged on Wednesday, July 29th, with felonies of promoting a sexual performance by a child and possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child.

He was held on $10,000 cash bail. His next court date is November 19th. If convicted, he faces up to seven years in prison.
