Former Judge, Now a Lawyer, Leaves Her Kids in Her Car as She Defends a Client in Court

A man walking around the Riverdale Municipal Court complex came across two toddlers sitting in a car unattended in the parking lot.

He went inside and told an officer who then made an announcement looking for the children’s parent(s).

The woman who turned out to be their mother also turns out to be former Clayton County magistrate judge, now a lawyer, Kimberly Bandoh.

She claimed she was just checking on a case of hers and insisted she looked out of the window often to check on them.

The children had been left unattended for at least 20 minutes.

She was arrested and charged with a misdemeanor before bonding out a few hours later.

The two and three-year-old children weren’t found to have suffered any lasting adverse effects and have since been put into the care of a family member.
