Officers responded to the Bogey Bar & Grill in Shawnee Hills, Ohio on Friday for reports of a drunk man ‘stumbling and knocking people over’. They removed former pro-football player Kirk Barton from the premises and got him a cab to take home. The former Ohio State offensive lineman, 33, slammed the taxi van door on one of the cop’s hands when he tried to help the driver determine Barton’s address. Another cop then had to tase Barton twice to subdue him so they could take him into custody. He faces a charge of felony assault.
