A Georgia father got drunk and passed out, giving his three-year-old son the chance to consume enough booze to become twice the legal limit to drive…for an adult.
20-year-old Marcus Daniel Allen was found passed out in his bedroom by a family member around 7:00 p.m. Satuday, and found the toddler acting strange and smelling like liquor. That relative then called the cops.
When police arrived, they determined that the young boy had been sipping from a cocktail. He was rushed to the hospital.
Mr. Allen was charged with felony cruelty to children, as well as additional counts of reckless conduct, obstruction, and underage consumption of alcohol.
He’s now being held in Hall County Jail without bond.
The child is expected to survive.
