Authorities say 35-year-old Christopher Durkin tried to sell drugs in a Pittsburgh traffic court.

They say after appearing Mondy for a charge of driving under suspension, while still in the courtroom, he spoke to a man in the courtroom.

A deputy told him to leave, at which time the other man told him that Durkin had tried to sell him Suboxone pills.

Deputies searched him and, lo and behold, he was found in possession of Suboxone, a drug used for pain, as well as addiction to narcotic pain relievers.

He was charged with possession of a controlled substance, and possession with intent to deliver.

He’s currently awaiting arraignment.
