An Iowa man was charged with indecent exposure after exposing himself to a teen boy on Sunday. He also claimed that he was God.
42-year-old William Griffin was taken into custody and charged after a 16-year-old male reported that Mr. Griffin had exposed himself to him.
He’d asked the boy for help before exposing himself, slapping the stunned teen, then saying he was God.
As the shaken boy went to pick up his glasses that had been knocked off of his face, Griffin tried to apologize and kiss him. The child was then able to get away and run to a friend’s house to call police.
Officers say the Griffin resisted arrested and tried to run before being Tased and taken into custody.
He was charged with indecent exposure, assault on an officer, simple assault, and interference with official acts.
It turned out that he also had a warrant from another county for felony domestic assault.
