Jacksonville Man Arrested For ATV Theft In Jones County



On the morning of October 4th, Jones County Deputies responded to Houston Rd., in the Comfort area of Jones County, in reference to taking an initial report for a larceny of a four-wheeler. A thorough investigation ensued. The investigation identified and confirmed that a suspect had not only stolen the four-wheeler and taken it out of county, but that he had also sold the four-wheeler on Facebook for $300.

Khiron Mills

On October 11th, Jones County Investigators arrested and charged Khiron Jamel Mills, 18 of 300 Sugarberry Ct., Jacksonville, with felony Larceny of a Motor Vehicle. Mr. Mills was issued a $10,000 Unsecured Bond and released. Immediately following his release, he cooperated with investigators and led them to the location of the four-wheeler. The four-wheeler was subsequently returned to the lawful owners. Additional charges are pending in this case and others may also be brought to justice for their involvement.
