LAGRANGE SUSPECT WANTED FOR RESIDENTIAL BREAK IN
On July 9, 2013, a Community Crime Reduction Team (CCRT) was working in the Town of LaGrange and saw a witness trying to get his attention. The CCRT deputy had just left a different residence that had been broken into and was checking the area for suspects when a bystander told him that they had just seen two black males breaking into another house. The LCSO CCRT deputy was able to see two black males running down the street. Deputy Curington apprehended one of the suspects without incident. The second suspect fled on foot and has not been located.
Thomas Dontrel Mason, 19, of 5736 Aldridge Store Road of LaGrange was arrested and charged with felony Breaking and Entering and felony possession of burglary tools. Additional Charges are pending. Mason has been confined in the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Detention Center under a $25,000.00 secured bond.
The second suspect has been identified as Anthony Rashad Dawson. Dawson is a 23 year old black male, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 135 pounds. Dawson is known to frequent the Town of LaGrange and the City of Goldsboro. Dawson is wanted by the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office for Felony Breaking and Entering and other charges.
