31-year-old Joseph Anthony Castellanos of Sandy, Utah was arrested after he allegedly beat his girlfriend, poured hot sauce and ranch dressing on her, and then tried to put her in an oven.

Castellanos came home on June 26th drunk and angry because his girlfriend did not visit him at work. During this time, he punched her in the face several times, urinated on her, stabbed the top of her head with a kitchen knife, and repeatedly stabbed her with a fork. He also poured hot sauce and ranch dressing on her and tried putting her in an oven. He could only get her feet inside. Somehow, she managed to escape and call 911.

The authorities have not revealed whether or not the oven was on or if this was an attempt to bake her alive. The man also stomped and kicked his girlfriend’s dog that was under the table.

Castellanos now faces various charges including aggravated kidnapping, aggravated assault, aggravated cruelty to animals, and intentional damage to property.
