This video, which was posted on Facebook last week, reveals a confrontation between a police officer and three men. The man seen in the video, identified as Chris Dimmitt of Voorheesville, New York, was pulled over around 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 21st by Albany County Sheriff’s Deputy Craig Apple.

Dimmitt, along with his passengers, exited the vehicle. Then the officer drew his Taser and aimed it, demanding that they get back in the vehicle. Dimmitt can be heard saying, “I am not a threat. This is my house. I am home.” Despite his claims, the officer orders the men to get back in the vehicle.

The disagreement continued for several more minutes until backup arrived. Instead of explaining the situation to his backup and having him attempt to help in the investigation, the deputy immediately yells, “Get on the ground” and Tases Dimmitt.

Police reports later revealed that Dimmitt was arrested and charged with speeding, DUI, and resisting arrest. He has since retained an attorney to fight the charges.
