41-year-old Paul Pelton from Ohio was arrested on a vehicle trespass charge after he recorded a video of a teenager’s dying moments on his cellphone instead of helping him after a high speed crash.

The accident happened on Monday the 13th of July at around 1 a.m., when the car crashed into a house in Lorain. The driver, Zachary Gooden, who was speeding past a railroad track, was critically injured. 17-year-old Cameron Friend, who was later taken to a nearby hospital, was pronounced dead.

While neighbors rushed to help the boys, Pelton was recording the incident. After recording it, he posted the video on Facebook and attempted to sell it to news stations.

He has since apologized to the family of the deceased.
