A Nevada teacher has been arrested after allegedly admitting to kissing a student because she wanted to take revenge against her fiance.
23-year-old Robyn-Lea Gentile, a teacher at Harney Middle School, stands accused of having a relationship with the 16-year-old male student.
She met the student at a school program. She and the student exchanged upwards of 800 text messages and kissed “about five times”.
She’d give him rides twice a week and the kissing is said to have happened in her car and outside of his home.
She told investigators that the relationship made her feel powerful and was motivated by revenge against her fiance, who’d been sending text messages to other girls.
She’s been charged with two felony counts of sex acts with a student and resides in the Clark County Detention Center.
Her bail has been set at $10,000.
