A New Jersey man paid a Pennsylvania woman so he could sexually assault two young girls for six years.

While authorities haven’t said whether either of the adults are related to the girls, 51-year-old Alfredo Rosales and 44-year-old Esperanza Mani-Cortez have each been charged with three counts of aggravated sexual assault, two counts each of sexual assault and child endangerment, and one count each of aggravated criminal sexual contact.

Officials just learned Friday that Mr. Rosales might be engaging in sexual activity with a 14-year-old girl. An investigation determined that he’d been sexually assaulting that young victim and a 12-year-old girl. Bergen County prosecutors also learned that these unspeakable acts had been going on since 2010.

Ms. Mani-Cortez had provided the girls “in return for financial compensation.”
