A New York teen boy has been arrested after attempting to rape a 13-year-old girl.

17-year-old Garry Pinkney has been charged with attempted rape, robbery, burglary, and a criminal sex act after the incident in the Bronx.

He was hand- and ankle-cuffed, remaining silent as he was led out of the Bronx Special Victims police station Sunday.

He stands accused of following the younger victim into an elevator inside a building at around 1 p.m. He’s said to have then convinced the girl to let him go into her apartment.

Once the two were inside, the knife-wielding suspect demanded money. When she refused, he forced her to perform oral sex on him and tried to rape her, authorities say.

He’s then said to have taken her book bag and run off.

The Young victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
