A now-former high school science teacher at Orrville High School in Ohio has been charged with a felony charge after being accused of having a sexual relationship with a male student.

33-year-old Sue Link-Bukovitz has been charged with third-degree sexual battery, a felony, after she allegedly had sex with a student from October to December.

The student was 18, but Ohio law makes sexual conduct between teachers and students a crime.

The married mother-of-two pleaded not guilty to the charge on April 26th, and a pretrial hearing is scheduled for May 31st in Wayne County.

The allegations against arose on December 14th.

The student, who was a high school senior, admitted to the affair with the teacher, who was a graduate from the same high school back in 2000.

She was placed on paid administrative leave in December when the allegations against her first came to light, and was ordered not to attend district events or to come onto the property.

She was charged in court on April 11th.
