A Pennsylvania man who was smoking weed in his room and was told by family members to put it out allegedly went postal and grabbed a decorative samurai sword and struck his brother-in-law, Bill Garey, in the face.

51-year-old Todd A. Clark, who only has one arm, was arrested and charged with attempted homicide, simple assault, possession of a prohibited offensive weapon, and two counts of aggravated assault.

He struck Mr. Garey across the bridge of his nose with the 3-foot sword, requiring stitches there and above his right eye. He’s since been released.

Mr. Clark’s sister, Amelia Garey, who’s married to the victim, started arguing with Clark just after 12 a.m. because they didn’t want him smoking weed in the house.

He’d initially picked up a cane to use on his sister, but when Mr. Garey intervened, he grabbed the sword and swung it

Cops found the sword with blood still on its blade laying on the porch.
