A Georgia couple left their baby strapped in the car with doors wide open to have sex in their warm house, Gwinnett County police say.
According to the report, police stood outside the home of Louis Thomas Cope and Katrina Marie Norman for fifteen minutes in 32 degree weather, before Norman answered the door in “a pink one piece lace suit” wrapped in a blanket.
When questioned about the child, both parents told police that they'd only been in the house for a couple of minutes. But police determined the statement to be false, considering the amount of time they were on scene.
Police arrested the couple for child cruelty. But Cope and Norman may face additional charges after police witnessed the condition of the home's interior, which had “trash thrown about the floor and a folded dirty mattress partially obstructing the door.” The house also had a miasma of urine and feces.
