A Pennsylvania woman claims her family put up with a neighbor from hell for two years and “should have started calling the police a year ago.” On March 21st, Red Lion cops responded to reports that a neighbor, 25-year-old Amanda Marie Warfel, was “loudly fornicating and banging around her bedroom to the degree that the [victim’s] dresser and her own bed shook,” according to a probable cause affidavit.

Tanya Saylor and her family, especially her two teen daughters (whose bedroom shares a wall with Ms. Warfel’s bedroom) allegedly put up with not just loud music, but racist comments as well.

The sex would be so loud, Tanya claims, that she’d give her daughters headphones to wear to bed.

“We gave her a full year of trying to do it the right way,” Saylor tells the York Dispatch.

"She harassed my kids for two years," Saylor told the paper. "We let it go for two years.... I shouldn't have let it go that long. I should have started calling the police a year ago." During that time, Warfel had sex "nonstop, making sure that my daughter heard," she said. "I couldn't do anything," Saylor said. "I couldn't be around her; nobody could." As of Monday, Warfel remained in York County Prison, where she is set to be released June 20. A hearing for a second case of disorderly conduct, which police say occurred March 21, still needs to be rescheduled, according to Fishel's office. ends

It all came to a head in January when Saylor’s oldest daughter had cancer treatment and needed to spend 10 days isolated. According to Tanya, Ms. Warfel had sex “nonstop, making sure that my daughter heard.”

Police had been called on February 17th and February 28th, and again on March 21st. Come April, Warfel pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and harassment charges in relation to the February 28th incident. She was sentenced to 45-to-90 days in jail.

She’s due to be released from York County Prison on June 20th, but still faces charges related to the March 21st case.

This particular case brought about a six-month stint in jail.
