A man accused of breaking his wife’s nose by throwing a McChicken sandwich at her was released from the Polk County Jail this past Tuesday on bond.
The man in question, 21-year-old Marvin Tramaine Hill II, faces charges of a simple domestic assault causing bodily injury, according to Sgt. Jason Halifax.
“It doesn’t matter what instrument is used to commit the assault…domestic abuse is a huge problem.†said Halifax.
According to Hill, his wife woke him after an afternoon nap with a McChicken in her hand. He became upset because he does not like McChicken’s, and threw it in her face, then forcefully smashed the bun into her face.
Hill then followed his wife to the bathroom where she retreated to clean herself off, taking footage with his cellphone camera.
He told police that it was his wife who attacked him after she knocked the phone out of his hands.
The couple has a 2 year old daughter and Hill’s wife has previously filed for a civil protective order against her husband. The case was dismissed.
