Shocking Smash and Grab Robbery Caught at a Jewelry Store

On Monday, June 29th, at about 1 p.m., a group of robbers walked into Glendale’s Jewelry Mart in the 200 block of North Brand Boulevard. Surveillance video shows them using axes and hammers to smash the glass jewelry cases while others scooped merchandise into open bags.

Immediately after the robbery, police went on a chase from Glendale to South Los Angeles where they eventually detained a man and two women in connection with the robbery. Witnesses reported seeing the suspects entering at least two cars. They provided police with descriptions of the vehicles and the suspects.

Police are looking for multiple suspects described as black, between 18 and 25, and driving a dark later-model Dodge Charger.
