How would you react if you found out that the vehicle you’d just collided head-on into contained two children? Now, how would you react if you were informed that this accident’s resulting injuries later killed one of them – a 5-year-old? Pretty damn devastated, right? Well, that would make you among the majority.
Aaronessa Keaton, a 24-year-old out of Phoenix, Arizona, however, is in quite the league of her own. When she was informed of the tragic results of the crash she’d been in back in February of this year (which occurred while she was high on marijuana and Benzodiazepines – not to mention eight months pregnant with her own child), she simply uttered, “Sh*t happens.”
On February 28, 2014, Aaronessa was traveling southbound on a roadway, sideswiped one northbound car, and then continued on in that northbound lane, plowing head-on into a 2007 Nissan Frontier containing two adults and two children. She was on probation for marijuana possession at the time as well.

The two adults in the ill-fated SUV escaped with minor injuries. One of the two children was in very serious condition for a time, but has since made a full recovery. The second is the victim mentioned above. Aaronessa was given an emergency C-section and her child was born with both THC and Benzodiazepines in its system and was in what was described as ‘very serious condition.’

She was indicted back in February and arrested Monday after being pulled over.
