A man in Seattle, Washington who was waiting to register as a sex offender decided that masturbating while he waited was a good idea.
50-year-old Anthony Hardison had been convicted back in mid-July on two counts of indecent exposure with sexual motivation after admitting that he’d exposed himself to two bus drivers.
He waited in the lobby of King County Administration Building – which also houses the sheriff’s office – to register as a sex offender as part of his punishment for those offenses.
It was a civilian sheriff’s office employee that then saw Mr. Hardison standing at a desk area “repeatedly turning his head back to look at her.”
She told authorities that he’d had his back to her while he was “moving his hips and his arm in an odd fashion.”
Believing that he was “masturbating or touching his penis,” according to the report, the “alarmed and offended” employee confronted the pervert who then “stopped what he was doing and completed his required paperwork and left the area.”
When the woman contacted her supervisor, a detective was assigned to investigate the incident. Video evidence was reviewed and it confirmed that Hardison had been masturbating in the lobby.
He was arrested for felony indecent exposure and is being held in the Seattle Correctional Facility in lieu of $145,000 bail.
