A Florida man made a snap decision that became a pain in the butt really quickly.

26-year-old Avery Davis ran from cops last Monday and released his pit bull, telling it to attack officers.

It apparently doesn’t mind or just flat isn’t too bright. It proceeded to bite him right square on the butt. It also tried to bite his head before he (Davis) ran and hid in an apartment complex nearby.

This all occurred just before 8 a.m. that day.

Officers had been in the area investigating a report of a burglary. They saw Mr. Davis, who matched the description of the suspect, and he was carrying hair care products.

They ordered him to hit the ground, which he did while hugging his dog. He then told the cops, “Y’all gonna have to kill us,” before getting up and high-tailing it.

One officer fired a Taser at him, knocking him back to the ground temporarily, but he got up and ran again. As officers ran after him, he released his dog from its leash and yelled, “Kill ’em boy! Kill ’em,” while pointing at the officers.

The officer found him later hiding under an SUV in a nearby apartment complex.

He was arrested on two counts of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, and one count of resisting an officer with violence.

As of Tuesday, he remained in the Palm Beach County Jail.
