A Florida woman, 20-year-old Josseleen Elida Lopez, shot up meth, went to Walmart, shoplifted sushi, cinnamon rolls, mini muffins, a rotisserie chicken, and a bottle of wine…then started consuming them – all while riding around on a motorized shopping cart.

She was arrested for shoplifting and possession of drug paraphernalia by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office.

They’d responded after the store’s loss prevention guy called them about an alleged shoplifter he had in custody. He told authorities that he’d noticed the woman “acting suspiciously” while driving the cart around.

A deputy noticed a half-empty bottle of wine in her cart, and watched her grab a box of sushi, eat a piece, and put the box back on the shelf. She did the same with the cinnamon rolls and mini muffins. He also witnessed her eat most of a rotisserie chicken.

In all, she’d stolen and consumed $32.36 worth of food and drink.

When they took her into custody, they found two empty syringes, one in her purse and one in her backpack. She told them she’d used them to shoot up meth.

When asked why she took the food, she said she was hungry and didn’t want to take it out of the store.
