A kindergarten teacher in Georgia has been arrested after being accused of having a relationship with a 14-year-old boy.

47-year-old Jennifer Robinson was charged with five counts of child molestation and five counts of aggravated child molestation involving the teen.

Officials say Robinson is a teacher at Upson South Elementary School, while the victim is a student at Upson Middle School.

Upson County Sheriff Dan Kilgore said the two had an ongoing relationship that went from July 1st to February 21st.

She had her first court appearance Wednesday and is still in custody.

The Upson County Sheriff says it was Ms. Robinson’s classroom computer, left on while she was out of the room, that alerted a professional.

“Someone else in the classroom heard the notifications, went over to shut the computer down, and noticed that there were some inappropriate communications between her and a young man,” Kilgore said.

Monday afternoon, the district was alerted.

“Sheriff’s investigators were swiftly brought in,” he said. “By Monday evening, investigators say the boy confirmed and Robinson confessed.”
