Vincent Arcona has likely never been accused of being the sharpest knife in the drawer.

The 27-year-old (above and first photo below) was being questioned at the Midtown South station around 12:30 p.m. on Thursday as a person of interest in a recent shooting near Penn Station, and while sitting in the interrogation room, according to the criminal complaint, he reached ‘into his buttocks area’ to ‘remove an object that appeared to be drug packaging’.

He then ‘took the substance out of the packaging … and inhaled the substance that appeared to be heroin’.

At his arraignment hearing Saturday, he was charged with tampering with physical evidence and possession of a controlled substance. He’s still being investigated as an accomplice in the shooting.

The suspected shooter, Francisco Alsina, (below) 23, was also caught in Rhode Island Thursday.
