Utah – A woman accused of drunkenly setting fire to her ex-boyfriend’s house pleaded guilty to reckless burning, among other charges, last Tuesday for a crime committed on

March 14th. The woman in question, Cameo Crispi, 32, admitted to placing a pound of bacon in a wooden stove in the victim’s house and turning it on high.

Before the incident, she reportedly called her ex fifteen times in less than an hour. He called police after receiving these calls, who discovered the fire at his house.

“I asked to come in and observed a wood stove left open with a fire burning inside and hot coals on the floor around the stove,” said an officer who was on the scene.

“I observed the burner to be on the setting ‘High’ and the bacon to be severely burned.”Crispi is to be sentenced on May 19th and could face over two years in prison.
