Any good mother cares about her precious daughter’s birthdays and wants them to be special – especially milestone birthdays like ‘sweet 16,’ turning ‘legal’ at 18, etc. But Nicola Austen wanted it a little too special for her daughter’s 18th.

This Kent, England resident bought 12 bags of cocaine to make sure her daughter “had a good time” celebrating the occasion back in January. Oh, and being the good mom she is, she threw in a limo.

The police became aware and raided her home in Tunbridge Wells. They found drugs worth around £300/$460 hidden under windowsills.

It may not surprise you to find that Ms. Austen has six priors that, amazingly enough, do include possession with intent to supply. She claims that, yes, she was planning one heck of a night for her daughter.

Nicola Austen told the Daily Mail in a huff, “It’s all been blown out of proportion. I’ve had enough! It isn’t exactly the scoop of the century, is it? It was a party!”

Judging by the price she paid for the stash, it would seem that Ms. Austen’s haul was of near- amazing quality. Apparently she’s only saving that for her daughter’s 21st.

She was given a nine-month suspended sentence and 250 hours of community service.
