A new Jersey substitute teacher admitted in court this past Wednesday that she’d engaged in sexual acts and sexting (with photos) to underage students.

22-year-old Linda Hardan pleaded guilty to one count of sexual assault, and two counts of child endangerment. She now faces up to five years in prison.

One victim was 14 years old, and the other two were 16-year-olds.

She performed oral sex on one of the 16-year-olds and sent racy or nude photos of herself to another.

Tears ran down her face as she answered questions in court.

She’d worked as a substitute teacher in Haledon and at Manchester Regional High School in North Haledon.
While those 16 or older in New Jersey can legally consent to sex, adults are forbidden from having sexual relations with anyone 16 to 18 years old if they hold supervisory roles over those kids.

She’s now free on $200,000 bail that she posted after her arrest back in November of 2014.

She’ll be sentenced on September 30th and will have to register as a sex offender. In addition, she’ll have to surrender her substitute teacher license.
