A 29-year-old man driving drunk and speeding in Flushing, Queens early Friday morning, crashed his Porsche into the back of a parked school bus, killing his fiancee, 24-year-old Nara An.
Nara had asked him to slow down before the fatal accident, but he hadn’t listened.
After seeing her crushed body, he attempted suicide by trying to strangle himself, but was unsuccessful.
He tested at twice the legal blood-alcohol limit.
He was then arrested and charged with DWI and vehicular manslaughter.
He’s being held on a $750,000 bond and has been placed on suicide watch per his lawyer’s request.
