A Pennsylvania man was arrested after raping his own young sister and his stepdaughter.

41-year-old Edward Geier was convicted of more than 1,068 counts of sexual assault in connection with the rape of his 13-year-old stepdaughter and his 14-year-old sister.

The abuse came to light after police found his 13-year-old stepdaughter walking alone on the street. When asked why she wasn’t at home, she told authorities that she’d run away because her stepfather had been molesting her for quite some time.

The abuse lasted four years, as a matter of fact, and she says that her mother told her not to tell anyone about it.

Police found a mix of DNA from Geier mixed together with the girl’s in her bedroom.

Geier’s sister also filed a complaint with the police saying that she was raped by her brother numerous times as well.

The first incident, she says, happened when she was babysitting for him. She’d fallen asleep on the couch and woke up to him raping her.

He was charged with rape of a child, statutory sexual assault, unlawful contact with a minor, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a person younger than 16, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse by forcible compulsion, sexual assault, corruption of minors, indecent assault of a person younger than 13, and indecent assault of a person younger than 16.
