In a case of “here we go again” in America, a Pennsylvania teacher’s aide has been accused of having a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old student, and done so for the last month.

26-year-old Christine Towers, a now-former employee at Conestoga High School, was charged yesterday with four counts of having sex with a minor, endangering the welfare of a child, and corruption of a minor.

After being questioned by investigators this week, the unnamed teenager said that the teacher’s aide had kissed him while she was tutoring him one-on-one.

A statement from the school’s superintendent said that she only worked as an aide at the school until February, although court paperwork lists the offenses on March 17th.

Her lawyer says that she’d been helping with the girls softball team at the time of the accusations, but that she resigned this week.

She coached multiple girls sports at the school, which said that it didn’t have information about any other students being “romantically involved” with her.

She was arraigned yesterday morning and released on bail.
