Two Florida women were taken into custody Saturday after they broke into a friend’s home and vandalized the bedroom using duct tape and animal feces.
18-year-old Nikki Rowena Sismanidis (left) and 19-year-old Jasmine Marie Suarez (right) are alleged to have broken into the home of a friend they had in common.
Once inside, they put strips of duct tape on the bedroom walls, as well as used that tape to spell out an expletive. Before they decided they were finished, they put animal feces on the bed.
The victim told cops that Ms. Sismanidis had become angry in the past when she’d chosen not to hang out with her. The previous day, the victim had ignored texts from her asking her to hang out.
Both Sismanidis and Ms. Suarez admitted to the burglary and vandalism in a phone call with the victim, as well as came back to the home while the police were there and admitted it to them.
The pair were arrested and charged with burglary and criminal mischief.
They were released on their own recognizance from the Alachua County jail Sunday.
